Delete a Business

Overview

This article will outline how to remove business information form the CMMS

1. In order to delete a business, all records in the CMMS (i.e. RFQs, Parts, Users, Assets) must be disassociated with the business. Trying to delete a business that has associated records will generate an error message indicating that a link still exists.

Note: The error messages should be used as a guide to locate and remove links. 

 

2. Remove all links. In this example, the error message indicated that a link existed in the purchase order module. Navigate to the module, find the link, and remove it.

 

3. Once all links are removed, select Businesses, the business, and click Delete
